Antique Aluminium Train Carriage Luggage Rack (SOLD)

A Superb Polished Aluminium Train Carriage Luggage Rack. Made from aluminium, with brass and wire netting, with two racks, the top for holding luggage and the lover rack for hats, both are made from wire and brass which his unusual as most were made from rope. These racks have been polished to showcase the lovely aluminium. Originally these would have been mounted above your seat in the train carriage to hold personal belongings. C1920

These aluminium luggage racks are in superb condition and would make a lovely shelving system or used in the kitchen to hold pots, pans and kitchen utensils. A really lovely piece of locomotive history.
