A Rare and Unusual Cast Iron Doorstop. Made from cast iron, modelled as dog in the begging position (Possibly as Bichon) holding a scroll in his mouth all mounted on a cast roped round base. C1870
This lovely French cast iron dog remains in original condition, with lovely patina, he’s very charming and still functional. This lovely piece would look great in any hall way or living room, a great conversation piece.
