A Superb and rare Georgian folding dumbwaiter. Made from fruitwood, comprising of a metamorphic three tier table for serving with a locking peg to keep in place, standing upon platform base. C1800.
Very rare to find a 3 tiers table with an extending metamorphic mechanism making it smooth to open & close. The table has a lovely patina and remains in original condition, it has been waxed to showcase a polished finish.
This is a delightfully serving table is fully articulated for serving afternoon tea. Ideal for a home gathering/function, or as a shop display. (Fully extended H: 98cm)
