A Rare Citroen DS Decapotable Child’s Pedal Car (SOLD)

A superb and rare child’s pedal car of the classic Citroen DS Decapotable. A classic French Car, no denying that it still looks very cool, this child’s pedal version of the vintage classic has the pedal and steering mechanism still in working order, all original interior. C1950

Made by makers Morellet Et Guerineau, the company made various variants throughout its production run, originally metal with no lights and then additions such as wing mirrors, opening bonnet and lastly in the late 1960’s and 1970’s the plastic version with neither lights or engine details.  The cost of producing such a high quality children’s toy proved prohibitive.

Although it does show signs of being well loved over the years it would make a great restoration piece. (Seat H: 20cm)
