Antique French Oak Barely Twist Clerks Desk (SOLD)

A Beautiful Antique French Oak Clerks Desk. Made from Oak, comprising of a cream leather embossed top, with 3 sets of lockable drawers, the first set has two single drawers, there is a middle wide pull out drawer, the third drawer has been made to look like two single drawers, once opened it reveals an inner hidden drawer, all lockable. The desk has beautiful hand carvings to the sides all set on on hand turned barley twist legs & stretchers. C1880

This superb desk has heaps of charm and sophistication, a thing of fine quality and craftsmanship,  in original condition, with lovely patina to the wood, this piece would look amazing in a hallway or in an office or library setting.
