A Superb Antique Malles Gisler Travel Trunk, made from wood, covered in canvas with a leather trim, beautiful brass fittings and brass stud work. This travel trunk had been waxed and the brass polished to showcase the original look of this stunning piece of early travel history.
Made by the Famous French makers L.Gisler Paris, the makers label is on the outside of the trunk at the front above the lock. C1910
This trunk is in lovely condition, will need a new liner. This lovely trunk would make a great coffee table or as a display piece for the home.
