Art Deco Lacquered Chinoiserie mantel clock with a lovely blue lacquered chinoiserie hand painted case, offering a brass clock face, Swiss made 8 day movement, remains in fully working condition. C1920

Chinoiserie was a decorative style in Western art, furniture, and architecture, especially in the 18th century, characterised by the use of Chinese motifs and techniques.

This clock does show signs of age with some detailing missing, but this does not take away the charm of this timeless classic.
