This a large rare and extremely collectable Tole wear carpet sample tin, dated 1871, this tole wear tin is in fantastic condition and still fully functional, this pieces would make a great wall display in any home, work or shop display, definitely as great talking piece. We also have a smaller sample tin available, these tins can be bought as a set, the larger tin to the left in these photos is the one advertised.
The term tole derived from the french tole pointe, “Painted Sheet Metal”
