Large Victorian Copper Fish Kettle By Epicure (SOLD)

A Superb Large Victorian Copper Fish Kettle. Made from Copper, comes complete with lid, which still sits flush to the kettle and polished brass looped handles. Made by the famous “Epicure Cooking Utensils” British Made Throughout, which is stamped on the front and lid. These oval-shaped kettles were used for cooking whole fish, and are still used today for the same purpose.

This piece has been polished to showcase the beautiful Copper & Brass for this piece of Victorian Kitchenalia. C1880

A great example of Victorian Kitchen wear, still remains in original condition, with light wear consistent with age and use, expected surface marks, minor dings, but this just gives this lovely piece of copper its charm.
