A Large Handwoven Wicker basket, made of a thick wicker, with strong handles, a very solid bottom and a lovely patina. These type of baskets would have been possibly used for storing bread in a French bakery. (This basket has been treated for any sign of worm). C1940
Great as a decorative item for umbrellas, blankets or in the kitchen or bathroom, or to store fire wood or would look great with a large plant pot inside.
