Rare Orange Louis Vuitton Cabin Case (SOLD)

A very rare and stunning Orange Louis Vuitton Cabin Case C1920’s, with brass fittings and lock, with brown leather edging, still retaining the original white linen interior, this gorgeous and very rare travel case has the famous Louis Vuitton stamp on the inside. (Paris 1. Rue Scribe Louis Vuitton New Bond St. London. 121 010) and has the Louis Vuitton stamp on the locks, fittings and stud work.

The Louis Vuitton brand was established in 1854 in Paris and by 1913 the firm had a retail shop on the Champs Elysees and added further shops in New York and London.

They developed trunks and luggage that were able to be stacked, they were lightweight, airtight and high quality and the label became a byword for dependable, timeless elegance and refinement.
