A lovely Benham & Froud Victorian Jelly Mould. Made from copper, with two tiers. The makers mark for Benham & Froud London and the mould size 212 is stamped on the front. C1840

The orb mark was adopted by the company after making the present cross on the dome of St. Pauls Cathedral in 1821 which was visible from their premises in Chandos Street. The mould has been polished to showcase the original copper, it does show signs of use, but this just adds to the charm of this piece of Victorian Kitchenalia.
