Victorian Hand Painted Jewellery Box (SOLD)

A Beautiful hand painted Victorian Pine Box. Made from English pine, hand painted in the style of a Victorian house with detailing around each side, with a removable trinket tray and a storage compartment underneath, also retaining the original blue velvet interior & key. C1880

These boxes were hand painted at a later date with designs on them to make them more appealing to the eye with the detailed finish making them more of a piece of furniture with style, a really lovely thing and very rare to find in such good condition. Would make a great storage box for the hallway, living room or bedroom.
