A lovely Victorian Poultry Hanging rack, made from Mahogany, with 6 brass hooks, these were used to hang pheasants and other poultry after a shoot. C1880
The Victorians believed they should hang the game for a few days to become ripe, or they will be tough and tasteless, if not well kept.
Today these hooks are a great addition to the home for hanging pots and pans or as a coat rack.
