Vintage Articulated Factory Task Lamp By Jielde (SOLD)

A Lovely Vintage Articulated Lamp By Jielde France. This Industrial desk lamp, is fully adjustable at all joints and a swivel head lamp, this is the green plate edition, with an on and off switch on the base, the makers label is on the inside of the switch “designed by Jean-Louis Domecq for Jieldé France”. C1930.

In the 1920s, Jean-Louis Domecq, then craftsman and workshop manager, noticed that he would need a lighting suitable for the activities of his profession. He then began to imagine and draw a lamp with a simple articulated arm, robust and devoid of wires in the joints and continued to develop theses amazing lamps into the 1050’s.

This stunning lamp is in full working & original condition, the versatility of this lamp makes it easy to store and is designed to attach to any desk or shelving unit, with its style and vintage look, this lamp would not look out of place in any setting. A great piece of industrial lighting. (PAT tested)
