1940’s Art Deco Aluminium Tallboy Made by Hawker (SOLD)

A stunning 1940s Art Deco Aluminium Hawker Tallboy, this piece is in superb condition for its age, with its Art Deco curves and detailing, with a single pull out drawer with the original bakelite handles, the inside of the Tallboy has shelving to both sides, and a hanging rail at the top, the door has a trouser/tie rail on the inside. 

Hawker aircraft ltd were a large manufacturer of aircraft through the 1920’s 30’s and 40’s and during this period they also produced a range of bedroom furniture which was often used on RAF bases across Europe.
