Vintage Harrods Limited Edition Brompton Bear

A brand-new, unused, boxed and undamaged ‘Merrythought’ Mohair 1990’s Harrods Limited Edition “Brompton Bear”.  Registered number 538 of 1000 made, he has movable joints and comes complete in the original box with all the labels and introduction card with the makers signature Oliver Flowers on the tag. Merrythought’s original factory is in Ironbridge, Shropshire, and remains Merrythought’s home to this day; a magical place where each teddy bear is brought to life using the finest materials and traditional craftsmanship that has been handed down the four generations of the company.

The Harrods Brompton Bear, officially named Henry, is a cherished icon of Harrods department store, deeply rooted in its history and mythology. The bear’s origins date back to 1906, when the first Harrods bear appeared in a catalogue of magical toys.

This lovely Harrods ‘Henry’ bear is a limited edition and remains in original condition, he’s looking for his forever home, he would make a great addition to any collection or as a display piece.
